On the 30/10/14 Carl Albrecht of Australian Work Health and Safety, a business that brings practical solutions to organisations so they comply to their safety duties asked John Hagerty and Joven Demonteverde of the Be Business ‘Ask the Strategist’ team “what is the best way to emphasise legal obligations and/or cost benefits of health and safety?”

Background to Carl’s question:

  • Wants to convey his message in a less threatening way
  • Offer a broad base of health and safety services
  • Health and safety courses
  • Harsh penalties to people who don’t comply

Carl wants to convey the importance of Work Health & Safety in the workplace but in a less threatening approach. John and Joven narrow down the significance of WHS and provide Carl with different alternatives on how he can achieve that goal.

Discussion topics discussed include:

  • Consulting
  • Work Health & Safety
  • Salesmanship

After receiving advice from John and Joven, Carl was confident with their responses and stated “its been tremendous, thanks very much for your time.”
